2013 Global Assessment Report for Disaster Risk Reduction

The 2013 UN Global Assessment Report on Disaster Risk Reduction (GAR13) is entitled "From Shared Risk to Shared Value: The Business Case for Disaster Risk Reduction".

GAR13 highlights how the transformation of the global economy over the last 40 years has led to rapid increases in disaster risk affecting businesses, communities and governments. Based on new and unique risk data and analysis, the report will provide the evidence base required for consultations on the post-2015 framework for disaster risk reduction (HFA2) at the Global Platform and throughout the next two years.
