Trump Shuts Media Over Signal Leak 2.0; Defends Pete Hegseth Over Yemen Strike Leak

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is under fire following an NBC News report that he used his personal phone to share sensitive U.S. military information related to operations in Yemen — including to a private group chat with family members.

🔒 The leaked messages allegedly contained strike details and were sent to a 13-person chat, including Hegseth’s wife and brother. The Pentagon has yet to confirm the nature of the information.

🇺🇸 President Donald Trump, however, defended Hegseth, dismissing the report and saying the Defense Secretary is "doing a great job." Trump added: “Ask the Houthis how he’s doing,” referencing U.S. military actions in the region.

📰 Hegseth called the report the work of "disgruntled former employees" and accused the media of attempting to smear his leadership.
