The 1916 SHARK ATTACKS at Matawan Creek, NJ

I visited the site of the 1916 Matawan Creek shark attacks in Matawan, New Jersey. It's a sad story, and one that remains infamous over 100 years later. Some say it was the inspiration for Jaws (though the author has denied it). You can kayak to the site from Raritan Bay--I rented a kayak there.
