First Wedding Dance! The Laendler - The Sound of Music!

For our first wedding dance, my husband and I danced "The Laendler" from "The Sound of Music"! It was a true fairytale wedding! My husband and I met at a ball when he asked me for the first dance, so it only seemed natural to dance at our wedding!

Almost 6 years later, we're living very happily ever after in our mid-century home where I sew all my own dresses and keep house like it's 1955... You can watch what we're up to now in our newer videos here on this channel.

For over ten years I've produced sewing patterns inspired by the Sound of Music on http://www.edelweisspatterns.com and I also designed and sewed my own wedding gown.
