Guitar Lesson - Double Picking - Mr. Fastfinger's Lost World solo p5

Part 5. Two guitar players come to my mind when I'm thinking about this double picking approach: Jake E. Lee (from Bark at the Moon era Ozzy Osbourne band) and John Sykes (from 1987 era Whitesnake).
The idea of this technique is very simple. 1. You take a simple melodic line 2. You play each note twice. Crossing the strings can be challenging, practice slow at first.
Alternate picking is the way. And this means no random amount per note, this is not tremolo picking! You want the note twice, precisely and sharp!

In case you're interested in the tone. There's Hughes & Kettner TriAmp behind the curtain. This was few months before I got the Tubemeister 18. TC Electronic G-system was hooked in front and loop of the amp. Amp miced with Sm-57 and SE Electronic 4400a. Guitar Pro 6 was used for the transcritions.
