Sills was not overly boastful in her self-estimation. She thought Cleopatra was a role that she had done as well as anyone else. But she said she thought she sang Se pietà better than anyone else. She said while driving her car she heard it sung and thought it was someone else and was upset thinking it was better, but then it was she! This was after she stopped singing.
