Last year ‘was not fantastic’ for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese

Sky News host Paul Murray says the end of last year “wasn’t fantastic” for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese as he failed to deliver on cost-of-living election promises.

“As we know the end of last year wasn’t fantastic for the prime minister for all the most obvious of reasons,” Mr Murray said.

“He was in a world of pain because of the way he had promised the Australian electorate back in 2022 that literally, everything would be cheaper under a Labor government.

“Reality was cost-of-living continued to be a significant issue.

“And will continue to be a massive one for us this year.”
