There's obviously a big difference between being a good person and being a good artist. After all, giving to charity or helping your friend move doesn't have anything to do with artistic skill. Although some lucky few have managed to be gifted both in creativity and in morality, many artists through history haven't exactly been someone you'd want for a neighbor or friend. Even within that field, however, these world-renowned and historically-significant artists committed some truly heinous acts in between creating masterpieces.
