Copper Plates on GDDR6X of the RTX 3080 ASUS TUF OC - vs. thermal Pads - Was it worth it?

In this video I show you the difference between good thermal pads (Arctic Blue = EC360 Silver) and copper thermal plates.
Of course you have a lot of work to do. Like bringing them to the correct size, but all in all you can
achieve a slightly temperature drop!
I`m a bit sad, that you cant really get a huge drop, like on other cards.
ASUS really messed that one up, considering that it runs that hot with such an insane heat conductivity.
Dont get me wrong. The temp was really okay before, but just for scientific things I wanted to see and show you the results.

Copper plates that were used are 15x15x2mm, but I had to grind them down to 1.5mm thickness, to fit to my card. The thickness you need might vary.
