True, Grizelda, Frookie, Bartleby & Zee go to the beach to celebrate Friendship Day. When Grizelda decides to go off and collect shells, she finds herself face-to-face with a magical giant Grippity Grab, who turns her into a mermaid! Grizelda follows the Grippity Grab back to his cave and makes a new friend, while True uses underwater Wish Subba, reversing Wish Undoo, and wiggly Wish Shim-Shim to find Grizelda and return her back to human form. / True accidentally hurts Cumulo’s feelings while building a ‘boatyfloat’ ride for the citizens of Rainbow Kingdom, causing Cumulo to disappear. Meanwhile, True and Bartleby offer the first boatyfloat ride to Mila and Rocky, which goes awry. True must use bubble Wish Floto, telescope Wish Zoomee, and squishy Wish Squashee to save Mila and Rocky and help Cumulo realize how important she really is to True. / Bartleby tells True that the plans for her special birthday celebration are under control, but things quickly get out of hand when he puts Grizelda in charge of the cake, and the Yetis in charge of the decorations. Soon the entire Rainbow Kingdom is in chaos, and True must use inflating Wish Pumpa, lifting Wish Lifto, and super-powerful bursting Wish Kakaraka to make things right. / Bartleby is invited to resume his ninja training with the Kittynati. True and Bartleby travel to the secret Kittynati Dojo in the Neverending Forest, but the masters insist that True leave while Bartleby trains, which makes both friends a little sad. Bartleby has a rough time with his training, which makes him wonder if he’ll ever be able to earn his coveted Red Tabby belt. As True waits for Bartleby, she befriends some forest creatures by the river. Suddenly an unexpected water geyser erupts nearby and floods the creatures’ homes. True tries to plug the geyser herself, but the problem worsens and threatens to flood the nearby dojo as well. With Zee’s help at the Wishing Tree, True gets three Wishes to help her stop the geysers. She uses a growing wish to enlarge a mushroom to plug the geyser, but this only sends the gushing water underground. True uses an underwater wish to help her go below the river’s surface to see if the cause of the geysers is down there. There, she finds an anxious blowfish plugging a passage that’s backing up the river. So True uses her last wish, a lullaby wish, to calm the blowfish down so it can shrink. Water flows normally again, but when True emerges from the river, the current carries her away. Heroically, Bartleby rescues True using his new Kittynati skills, earning him his red tabby belt and the respect of his Kittynati masters.
