LIVING ALONE SAFETY TIPS: How to Feel Confident and Safe Living Alone as a Single Woman

One of the greatest experiences a woman can have is living on her own. In fact, I think every woman should live alone for at least a year at some point in her life. You learn so much about yourself and get a strong sense of independence, resourcefulness, and self-sufficiency.

If you’re living alone for the first time or have been enjoying life on your own for a while now, there may be times where you get a little scared or need to take some extra precautions to maintain your safety.

Although I don’t believe in living in fear, there are definitely a few things a woman living alone should do to keep safe and enjoy her sacred space. When you feel safe in your home, you can feel more confident in your daily life, which is my biggest wish for you.

I’ve been living alone for the majority of my life and have learned a few things along the way. Here are a few tips to keep yourself safe while living alone and to enjoy the sanctuary that is your home.
