Soft Machine 'Improvisation' live 1967
Robert Wyatt, Kevin Ayers & Mike Ratledge filmed improvising, over a year before their debut album was released. Managed by Chas Chandler, the former Animals bassist who also managed Jimi Hendrix, they recorded their first album in New York in April '68 on a break from touring with Jimi. For French TV, Dim Dam Dom variétés, on 8th October 1967.
