Vivian Flanzer (Ph.D., University of Texas at Austin) is Professor of Instruction and Director of the Portuguese Language Program at the University of Texas at Austin. She is the author of the Open Educational Resource ClicaBrasil: Portuguese Language and Culture for Intermediate Students, and the co-author of the ESL podcast series Slice of Life. Her research interests include foreign language education; language teaching, culture, and technology; and cross-cultural pragmatics.
