Saab 4-button remotes are prone to deterioration. Buttons on the case wear and switches on the PCB fail. Batteries should be replaced regularly to avoid being stuck out of a locked car. In this video, I show you how to replace the battery and the case and finally resynch the remote to the car.

The new case in this video is a very close copy of the original with a hard shell and soft buttons. Good value at only about £10 for case, key blade and spare pcb switches.

If you're not confident about soldering such small parts OR if you need a completely new additional remote, then you can buy a PCB only here https://bit.ly/Saab_PCB which you can fit into your old case or using the case above you can build a completely new remote for less than 20 quid!! You will need to have it programmed to the car with Tech2 though.
