In this video I'll share with you a super easy pattern to make a blanket that I like to call Silver Linings. This pattern is easy to follow and perfect for the beginner crocheter.

I used Lion Brand's Pound of Love yarn and a size G 8 4mm hook. The blanket I made was HUGE. It measured about 77 inches long by 65 inches wide. Now, you don't have to make your blanket that big, it was a special request by my son to make it extra long! This blanet is completely customizable. You can make it as long or wide as you like. Just create a chain to the width you desire and you can stop making rows when it's the perfect length for you. The striping can also be customized by repeating the half-double crochet row.
