Headshake for Cupulolithiasis
Some patients with BPPV have cupulolithiasis, that is, otoconia adherent to the cupola. These patients will not have success with conventional treatment maneuvers unless the debris is dislodged from the cupola with head shake in the general plane of the canal , or head vibration prior to exercises or maneuvers.
