Toyota 3SGTE engine (machining a 1/5scale model) Pt1

A couple of years ago I was feeling overcome with the monotony of life and after stumbling across this man https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1pJIVqCC1E

and listing to some things a friend had said, I knew I had to try my hand at building a small model engine for my self.
I originally wanted to make a small V8 about 2 inches ish long.....but after doing some drawings I figure I'll start with a 1/5th scale model of the Toyota 3SGTE first.....that was a good choice because a larger scale inline 4 is hard enough to produce.
So I started to make my drawings in between machining cycles at work and on my breaks. I did the same thing for the actual machining as well, using much coffee and lunch breaks to set up and machine and occasionally getting a couple of hours after work to machine some of the more time consuming parts.
This is my attempt to join the exclusive (unofficial) club of small engine builders.
So far I have the rotating assembly pretty much finished and all the toleranced sizes of the block machined.
Foundry, green sand, the block pattern, crucible, and flask were all home made.
In the next videos I will finish machining the block and assemble the rotating assembly.....But until that time this is what I got.....
