Liz Truss On Why Post Brexit Border Checks Are Being Postponed!

Liz Truss the International Trade Secretary blamed the pandemic for the reason her government has kicked the can of 'taking back control' down the road. She said that both Europe and the US are suffering the same fate, but the EU has not suspended or postpone checks due to the pandemic. She also said that checks would drive up costs of essential items for the poor and working class. But her government is planning to impose the checks (if they don't postpone again) next year. So much for taking back control.
