Reverse Engineering a Video Splitter - eDoc2020 #4

I have a Radio Shack 15-1103 composite video splitter (or more officially, a Baseband 1x3 Amplifier) assembled in 1997 and wondered what makes it tick. So I did a quick teardown and reverse engineered its schematic. What I found was not what I expected.

This type of splitter is often known as a distribution amplifier, and is often used in places like bars to show the same picture on many TVs. This particular unit is branded Radio Shack but the same model was also sold under their Archer brand.

CORRECTION: Resistor R1 after the transformer is 6.8Ω, not 68Ω as stated in the video.
