One of the main complaints you hear about the Sea-doo Fish Pro is the problems or lack of performance with the Garmin sounder / fish finder and transducer, this customer wanted to upgrade to the same unit that I have on my Yamaha Waverunner, a Lowrance HDS Live 12 with a Active Imaging 3 in 1 transducer. I made custom brackets to mount the new Lowrance in the same position as the Garmin, but used much more reinforcing to hold the unit steady when out on the ocean riding through chop.
This upgrade will give the user a huge screen to make use of the 2d sonar, downscan / fish reveal, side scan and GPS charts all at once on the same screen and still have everything large enough to easily see. The active imaging transducer has been mounted externally underneath the ride plate central on the ski, which keeps the transducer well away from the jet pump wash and giving the best possible sonar images
