Best Budget Camera Phones (2019)

We review our favourite budget-friendly smartphone cameras available in 2019, for shooting quality photos and 4K video under £350 UK.

One of the best mobile snappers right now is the Honor 8X, which costs less than £250 yet still produces crisp, colourful shots even at night. You get plenty of great features too, as you do with the likes of the Honor 10.

Another smartphone boasting a great dual lens camera is the Nokia 7 Plus, with its Zeiss-branded tech. Motorola has also impressed in our tests, with the Moto G6 Plus excelling thanks to its wide aperture primary lens and slick portrait results. We also give props to the Moto One, even if the phone itself isn't as strong.

As for selfies, Samsung's Galaxy A6 is a great choice and one of our favourites thanks to the hand motion and LED flash. Meanwhile Sony's Xperia XA2 is getting on a bit, but the single lens camera can shoot sharp, realistic photos, with strong 4K video chops to boot.
