Teacher Builds a Replica of the Taj Mahal for His Wife, A Monument to Love in Madhya Pradesh

In a heartwarming tribute, Anand Prakash Chouksey, a teacher from Madhya Pradesh, built a stunning replica of the Taj Mahal as a gift for his wife, Manjusha. Unlike the original, which took 22 years, Chouksey’s four-bedroom home took just three years to complete. Made from Makrana marble, it features a 29-foot-high dome and intricate details reminiscent of the Mughal-era masterpiece.

Beyond romance, Chouksey sees his creation as a symbol of peace and unity. He plans to place an Indian flag atop the dome and add symbols of major religions on the minarets. “There is a lot of hate around, but love solves all problems,” he shared.

The house, located in Burhanpur—a city historically linked to the Taj Mahal—has captivated locals. More than just a home, it stands as a testament to love, harmony, and enduring devotion.
