Zee at Anthrocon 2024 with a 2004 Camcorder - Nostalgic Vibes Walking Tour

I had my camcorder from 2004 out at Anthrocon 2024!

I couldn't figure out how to take the video off the camcorder and put it on the computer, LOL. Thanks to a furry giving me and my bf the advice of using Handbrake, finally, it's free!!

I got this camcorder because I REALLY LOVE how old timey video looks. The shakeyness, everything about it I love. I could have done a better job with the focus. But ya, I just love how old it looks tbh. Reminds me of simpler times.

PART 1: THE LINE: 0:00
I couldn't believe how big the line was. WOW!! This section was originally going to be much shorter, but... I imagine the line was supposed to be much shorter too. Just really gives a scale of the whole thing. Includes an interview with someone who only waited 15 minutes in the sponsor line!

PART 2: THE FURRY FERRY CRUISE: 5:30
Super cute!! All the people getting on the boat (and the fishlike people surrounding it lying in wait LOL). My maker, Scarlet Wings, makes a small cameo here waving off the furries.

PART 3: MORE LINE! 9:02
Damn, that was a big line.
Mostly just trying to understand how many people arrived for the weekend. Was this the biggest furcon ever?? It sure looked like it!!

Part 4: Inside the con! 10:00
General vibes of being in Anthrocon. Furries walking, waving at the camera. That type of thing. Checking the layout of the place. Anthrocon is really, really big! Spacious as hell!!! I appreciated that a lot.

Part 5: The Anthrocon Block Party!!! 11:49
Just walking through the streets and seeing who I could see. And people could see me too lol. Whenever you see someone say "Excuse me" I stopped filming so they could grab a picture. I love how much the city of Pittsburgh comes out for the community.

The "bad footage" is part of the charm of this sorta thing. I'm enjoying making these style of videos :)
