Pericardial Tamponade
Pericardial tamponade is a clinical emergency that requires expeditious diagnosis and management. We highlight the limitation of the physical exam and patient history in diagnosing pericardial tamponade and discuss the echocardiographic findings associated with tamponade physiology.
