Working On Cruise Ships : What It's REALLY Like
Answering the top 12 Questions I get about working on cruise ships. I might do a Part 2, so leave any questions you have in the comments!

Some Cruise Lines To Look Into (Search their websites for an Employment or Job Listings or Open Positions menu) :
Princess Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean International, Disney Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Celebrity Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, ETC.
Or search https://www.allcruisejobs.com/ for cruise jobs available.
You can also sometimes find cruise recruitment days in or near your city in the local newspaper, or search for Facebook Groups with possible cruise job listings.
TIPS ON SUCCESSFULLY APPLYING :
1. Know what skills are needed for the job you want and get similar experience.
2. Write everything down on your resume, no matter if it relates to the job or not. IF they can't place you in the one you're applying for, they might see if they can put you in a different job onboard.
3. English must be well-spoken, but it greatly helps if you know multiple languages.
4. Familiarize yourself with cruise line recruitment agencies.
5. Be prepared for a video call or an in-person interview and dress professionally. No tattoos visible if you can help it and take out those facial piercings. Appearance and first impressions matter a lot.
6. It may take a few months before you hear back or officially start. Be patient and follow up with any questions or concerns.
7. If you land an interview, make sure to ask a few good questions at the end. They want to know that you've truly thought about everything this unique job opportunity might entail and are curious about knowing more.
8. Showing how positive, friendly, and happy you are during your interview will benefit you. Onboard and with the guests, you must always be "on" (even if you're off), ready to help with a smile, and be willing to tough it out in certain situations (lack of good wifi/service with loved ones back home, time zone changes, etc).
