Through The Eyes Of The Blind: Life Of The Visually Impaired | Seeing Is Believing | Part 1/2
“So you wouldn’t think a person with vision impairment would use Instagram but a lot of us do.” – Joshua
“Even though he has a visual challenge, I want to show everyone how happy he is.” – Usman, father of 6 year old Mihran
“Some days, when I have a lot of friends around with me, I really feel like it doesn’t matter (if I) can see or cannot see, everyone is together” – Bo Sheng
3 individuals invite you into their world of fuzzy outlines and blurry vision. Meet Joshua, university student, inspirational speaker, computer geek and soon-to-be Youtuber, all rolled into one. There’s Mihran, a cheerful 6 year old boy who is almost at the end of his kindergarten journey and about to embark on a new adventure, in Primary One. And finally Bo Sheng, a secondary school student who doesn’t mind travelling across Singapore for good food, even though he can’t see where he’s going.
They might be blind but they’re just as able as you and I are. Don’t believe us? Take a look.
