Burr Trail to Lake Powell | Solo Motorcycle Adventure on a Husqvarna FE 350
Join me on an epic solo motorcycle camping adventure from the frozen high desert of Boulder, Utah, through the stunning landscapes of the Burr Trail, and all the way to Lake Powell's Bullfrog Marina.
The night before the ride, temps dropped to zero degrees—I didn’t sleep a wink. But at sunrise, I packed up my Husqvarna FE 350 with all my gear and hit the trail solo, chasing adventure through breathtaking red rock canyons, dramatic overlooks, and remote desert roads.
Along the way:
• 🏍️ Rode the iconic Burr Trail solo
• ❄️ Battled freezing temps and a sleepless night
• 🚁 Captured drone footage at Burr Valley Overlook
• ⛽ Nearly ran out of gas & dealt with a pinched fuel line
• ⛺ Planned on primitive camping—ended up at Bullfrog Campground
• 🎣 Tried to fish, but Lake Powell was too low
• 🌌 Ended the day under the stars with a peaceful night at Bullfrog
This was an unforgettable ride through some of Utah’s most remote and scenic backcountry. If you love dual sport adventures, motorcycle camping, and off-grid solo travel, you won’t want to miss this.
