One of the main things you have to remember when approaching The Boys early work is a kind of acknowledgement of our connection to all living things and that interconnetedness between existence and non-existence; like a silhouette of life, absolute death stands at the edge of our potential for interconnection. But! Once we have left this world, our choices create eddies and spirals amongst the flow of systems moving with other systems and so we begin and end far beyond the scope of our perceived lifetimes.
