Beckjord Generating Station – Phase I – Controlled Demolition, Inc.

Controlled Demolition, Inc. (CDI) of Phoenix, Maryland, USA (acting as Explosives Subcontractor to Main Demolition Contractor, MCM Management Corporation of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan) performs the preparation for and successful explosives felling of the Beckjord Generating Station precipitators and turbine building roof for Units #1 thru #5 in New Richmond, Ohio on Friday, May 8, 2020. MCM will remove the resultant debris and turbine bay construction prior to preparing the boilers per CDI design for explosives felling in Phase II. Scheduled for later this year.
