The market has rocked the boat from the steady up trend that everyone was used to the past few weeks. Given where we stand technically, we are watching for some continued sideways consolidation and even a little bit further of a pullback. Many of the gaps that remained below us on the chart have started to fill, and can continue to fill all while respecting the 38.2 fibonacci re-tracement. The key level to pay attention to this week will be SPY $300, and SPX & /ES $3000.

If you're a day trader looking to make fast money online, you certainly need to keep these areas of support and resistance in mind, as well as any technical patterns, before the opening bell on Monday morning.

Going into the day with a plan is important and will give your trading the edge you need to be a successful retail day trader.
