DEAD/JAZZ is the new collective project from the creative brains of the Belmondos. Known for their collaborations with Dee Dee Brigewater, Yusef Lateef and Milton Nasciemento a.o., the famous jazz brothers tackle the music of the legendary San Francisco group of the psychedelic years, the Grateful Dead. DEADJAZZ covers 9 songs, treated in an instrumental version, in a spirit which reconnects with the sound of these highly electric years, thanks to the crossed keyboards of Eric Legnini and Laurent Fickelson. At the crossroads of jazz and rock, DEADJAZZ offers a series of stops on the Grateful Dead’s grandiose journey: the trip is guaranteed.
