Mt Teide Tenerife 31st Jan-1stFeb 2017 3718m (12,198 ft)

A winter break to Tenerife saw us climb our biggest mountain yet!
It was supposed to be an easy walk from the cable car to the refuge, with a dawn ascent for sunrise.
Teide had other plans though! high winds cancelled the cable car so a long walk it was, a change in the weather saw the forcasted temp of -14 plus :o
No summit views but a great walk all the same
