Plan Jäägaala - Koska olen tyttö 13.4.2011 - 16 Kiira Korpi

I shot this video at a charity ice gala. It was part of Plan Finland´s "Because I am a Girl" ("Koska olen tyttö" in Finnish) campaing to fight gender inequality (in developing countries). It was a nice event which I enjoyed very much. I like watching Kiira Korpi skate. She´s good performer and always smiling.

I didn´t have my tripod with me and it seems my videocamera Panasonic HDC-SDT750 has some issue with image stabilization (hybrid O.I.S.) when panning handheld. I had not used it before in situation like this handheld so I was surprised how jumpy the stabilizer made the shots look at times. In this case figure skaters skating at high speed seemed to jump forward in motion like I was shooting at 10 frames per second when actually was shooting at 50 frames in progressive mode.
