Steadiness: Teaching Dog to Sit | S3 Ep: #14

Dog training steadiness and teaching dog to sit is the topic of this clip from one of our DogBone handlers workshops! With any dog training, the foundation is by far the most important. Within that, steadiness and "sit" is an extremely important aspect.

If you've followed along our content, you have heard Jeremy stress the importance of connection and feel. This silly drill we do with attendees of our handlers workshops is one way we put you in your dogs shoes, and help to show the importance.

Over the past several years we have been documenting our Handlers Workshops for a variety of reasons. One of the initial reasons was to use the content as supplementary footage included within our series of Training DVD's. After realizing that we had so much footage that I think is just as valuable as the DVD content itself, we decided that we should put the effort and time into organizing it in a way that we could effectively provide it to you as well. This particular episode will dives into stopping dog from pulling on lead. In this case, big Boone loves to lunge at other dogs. Kerrie, Boone's owner, is not able to tame the big beast. This behavior ends now.
