French resistance - Sabaton - Unbreakable - Les Grandes Grandes Vacances (The Long Long Holiday) CMV

In about 10 years we will lose all the veterans of the Second World War and members of the resistance movement, and in 15 years - the children of that war, who saw and remmember everything with their own eyes.

Who can, write here pls!! your family stories, about your great-grandparents, great-grandmothers, those who took part in the war or lived during the occupation. I will be glad to read it all.

My great-grandmother's sister, now 96 years old, is now on the verge of death, and she also took part in the resistance movement. She is the last witness in my family who still remembers those terrible times
Thanks to her I heard also about story of my grandfather, a soviet ukrainian officier (Toporenko Oleksandr), who escaped from a German POW camp and joined the resistance movement...
It is a pity that I will also soon lose her..
Everything that the elderly Colette tells in the cartoon, I heard from my still living sister of my great-grandmother.
Big Thanks to the French animators for this cartoon - unfortunately, young children will no longer have the opportunity to talk to the last witnesses of this era.
Please take care of these still living people who still have such people (veterans, members of the resistance movement, children of War, as well as soldiers of the Axis countries), write down their stories, stories of heroic deeds and defeats, difficulties and experiences. Let's keep the memory of them and the memory of World War II.
