Samsung 4K 65" TV 2 years old costing £700~ screen problems, caused by backlight LEDs failure

This TV is under 2 years old, cost around £700 when new and has had normal usage however a few days ago we noticed a dark black vertical band that would appear on the right hand-side and sometimes go, then one night it just stayed there and to make matters worse a some hours later on the bottom left it was glowing bright white with a black shape that appeared and extremely hot 60-80c so we decided to turn the TV off for safety. We did take the tv apart, and many of the LEDS which control the backlight had failed with black burn marks. I suppose you could fix this, however the tv is all made with interlocking plastic parts and a variety of materials layered on top of each other and it's difficult to remove everything without causing damage, the bottom left LED issue had actually warped some of the materials itself.

This is all worth considering when looking to purchase a Samsung TV. I have made this video to make others aware of this particular issue, and what causes it and this is well known a simple search reveals this.
