Membrane Transport
An introduction to membrane transport including membrane selectivity, channel and carrier proteins, gradients and active vs. passive transport.
Learning Objectives:
• Apply the concept of membrane selectivity to compare forms of membrane transport
• Compare and contrast channel and carrier proteins
• Discuss the role of gradients in membrane transport.
• Compare the types of passive and active transport and give examples of each within a cell.
