The Cure - Robert's tear - If Only Tonight We Could Sleep - Dec. 3, 2016 - London - Robert's Tear

This was the last night of The Cure tour. It was Saturday night at Wembley Arena SSE in London. Out of all the songs from last night, I think this was the best because Robert really felt his way through it. He made vibrating sounds with his guitar as he slipped his fingers up and down the strings. Sensual and beautiful. Watch in full screen to see his tear at 4:18 fall down his right cheek.

In order to take this close-up video, I waited in line from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM when the doors opened. It was frosty and windy, but I was the first person let in the door and the first person to jump on the bar. I fixed myself in front of where I knew Robert's mic would be. This was the third night at Wembley and last night of The Cure tour. I'm amazed how they held up. I saw them in Las Vegas, Mountain View, CA, Chicago, Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, Honolulu, and finally here in London.
