1966 Ford Galaxie 500 for Sale
Visit https://www.leftcoastclassics.com/ to see this 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 for sale from Left Coast Classics in Sonoma California.
This is a cool old Galaxie that is big enough to bring along friends and family and priced right for a quick sale!
This classic Galaxie starts; runs and drives nicely. The 352ci V8 engine runs strong, smooth, and clean. It appears that the engine was out of the car not too long ago and while we cannot document it, it seems likely to have been rebuilt. The cooling, charging and fuel systems are all working nicely and the Cruise-O-Matic shifting is spot-on.
This nice-looking 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 for sale has been mostly restored over the years and is in very good shape all around. It was built on December 20th in the Twin Cities and delivered to its original dealer in Denver, Colorado finished in Tahoe Turquoise with Aqua Cloth and Vinyl. It is showing 20,482 though we think it is safe to say that is not the actual mileage.
The Paint looks nice and fairly recent, likely done in the last 5-6 years by the previous owner. The body, floors, and rockers are rust-free though there is some small bubbling at the lower corner of the left rear door.
The car handles well with good braking and suspension and has two new whitewall tires installed. All in all, it is a nice driving car that appears to have been mechanically gone through and maintained.
Inside it has very nice door panels, upholstery, and what looks to be newer carpeting. A steering wheel and dash restoration will make a huge difference! The parcel shelf looks nice and the car has seatbelts in the front and rear. The headliner may be original but it looks good. The dome lamp lens and the passenger side visor are not present. The radio, speedometer, and odometer work, the fuel gauge and wipers work too.
The lights and fan also are in working order along with the blinkers though they do not turn off automatically. It looks to have originally had A/C though the compressor is not present. This should make for an easier, modern conversion if so desired. The trunk is clean with no rust, the spare is present but there is no jack or lug wrench. All in all the interior should take very little and is very comfortable as-is.
The quarters are straight through there are signs of repair at the lowest sections visible from the inside of the trunk. It is missing the right/rear emblem and the engine size emblems on the lower front fenders. The undercarriage is immaculate, it looks to have been very nicely restored. Overall it is a very nice looking Galaxie.
