Grace and Beauty: 150 Years of the Episcopal Church in Hawaii
Created by EMMY-winnning filmmaker Stephanie J. Castillo for Hawaii Episcopal Diocese to celebrate its Sesquicentennial. Founded by King Kamehameha IV and Queen Emma, this 40 min. doc tells a very interesting history of how they founded the Anglican church in Hawaii, and why. And its shows the church becoming part of America, with the illegal takeover of the Hawaiian Islands, and why. Brilliantly told by storyteller Bishop Robert Fitzpatrick and others.
