How To Play Guitar Chords And How To Solo In Any Key Using Hidden Neck Pattern

In this lesson I'll be showing you a hidden neck pattern I call the "L7 GRID". The L7 GRID allows you to easily figure out and play chords in any key and the kicker is it also shows you how to solo in any key!

Understanding and visualizing "The L7 Grid", will unlock the chords on the fretboard. There are 4 GRIDS btw...but this is the simplest.

I also you how to play all the chords in every key on the guitar fretboard. ( I leave the diminished chord vii* out as the subject of a future video).

As a bonus, I show you how the minor pentatonic scale fits into the grid enabling you to solo in any key and play the super sweet notes that always sound good.

The six remaining chords are the foundation chord progressions of most of the songs you love and want to learn

This video involves playing Major and minor barre chords using the E and A shapes from the CAGED system.
