Dubrovnik Croatia:
Dubrovnik is a city in southern Croatia fronting the Adriatic Sea. It's known for its distinctive Old Town, encircled with massive stone walls completed in the 16th century. Its well-preserved buildings range from baroque St. Blaise Church to Renaissance Sponza Palace and Gothic Rector’s Palace, now a history museum. Paved with limestone, the pedestrianized Stradun (or Placa) is lined with shops and restaurants.
Dubrovnik is usually regarded as the most picturesque city on the Dalmatian coast and is referred to as the “Pearl of the Adriatic.”
The old city of Dubrovnik was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1979.

Dubrovnik Game of Thrones:
Dubrovnik has been a prominent Game of Thrones filming location since Season 2 and the Croatian city is a must-visit for any Game of Thrones fan. After all, Dubrovnik is King’s Landing, the capital of the Seven Kingdoms!
The Old Town is full to the brim of filming spots and there are several other locations around the city.
Dubrovnik West Harbor (Blackwater Bay)
The scenic West Harbor is portrayed as Blackwater Bay in the Game of Thrones scenes filmed in Dubrovnik. Blackwater Bay is where many pivotal moments occur, such as when the Lannisters part with Myrcella and when Lord Baelish (Littlefinger) tempts Sansa with a chance to escape.

Banje Beach:
With beautiful views over Dubrovnik Old Town and Lokrum Island, Banje Beach is located in front of the eastern entrance to Dubrovnik Old Town (Ploče Gate), situated on the seashore. The beach has its reception, restaurant and sleek and minimalist cafe bar on the waterfront with often snobbish clientele. You can rent your deck chair and parasol, jet ski, speed boat, and god knows what else – it keeps changing from summer to summer. Banje is well known among visitors to the town so it can be very crowded in the summer seasons.

Getting to Banje Beach:
From the Old Town – walk out from the walled town through Ploce Gate and continue walking towards the East for another few hundred meters where on your right side you will notice wide stairs leading down to the beach. From Stradun it takes about 5 minutes to walk to reach Banje beach.
