Adobe PANTONE Problems

Amybeth Menendez breaks-down the Adobe Pantone problems and some of the issues with the provided so-called work-arounds. That said, Amybeth, a publishing and print workflow and Adobe Creative Cloud expert, has a lot of question marks even how PANTONE colors in PDFs will behave in modern, PDF editing, workflows!

The end-to-end workflow, from graphic design to preflight and from prepress to the printer mixing the inks, are effected by this PANTONE and Adobe debacle. Mrs. Menendez breaks-down the various potential problems and some solutions, with hope! We get a tour of PANTONE Connect and how she has to use an old Adobe Photoshop 2021, because the PANTONE scripts will not work on her M1 macOS and Photoshop 2023! That is really a workflow issue for her and many others in graphic design, publishing and print!
