IS IT POSSIBLE TO BEAT MONSTER HUNTER WORLD LIKE IT’S A CLASSIC MONSTER HUNTER GAME!? Part 1

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to play Monster Hunter World like it’s a classic? well look no further as I show you what it’s like using MH3U rules. The next video which should come fairly soon will have the Iceborne version of this challenge so stay tuned.

Challenge MH3U Rules

1. Charge blade and insect glaive are off limits.

2. Can ONLY use weapon moves from MH3U.

3. Cannot Mount or use aerial attacks

4. Cannot use Items or monster materials that didn’t exist in MH3U.

5. Cannot use equipment that didn’t exist in MH3U.

6. Cannot use mobility that didn’t exist in MH3U like moving while landing, boosting up climbable surfaces, jumping off walls, dodging backwards, and sliding.

7. Cannot use the Radial menu and must only use the hot bar

8. Cannot use Item loadouts ( They never existed in MH3U)

9. You must name your palico Cha-Cha or Kayamba and only use Gajalaka or BoaBoa armor on it otherwise put it on standby.

10. Cannot use specialized tools like Mantles or Boosters as they didn’t exist back then either

11.Can only use Camp 1 in every map

12. Cannot fast travel

13. Must hold still while using consumables

14. Must hold still while gathering and use net to catch bugs

15. Cannot use quest boards and must only accept quests through handler or hub lass

16. Cannot roll while carrying eggs, meat chunks, or cannon balls (if you do, you must drop it)

17. Cannot use weapons with Butchered designs.

18. Cannot use slinger for anything other than use of Flash pods, sonic pods, and dung pods

19. Cannot use clutch claw or grapple hook

20. Cannot eat at camp or switch items/equipment on site. Must be done before a quest/expedition

21. You must turn off Damage indicaters.

22. Cannot do investigations and must only do optional quests to grind.

23. Cannot use Beta Sets and Must only use Alpha sets

24. To beat the challenge, You must beat the final boss of Iceborne
