The next gold rush will happen in Finland, according to this industrial economist, by the name of Carl Löfberg.
He tells me that not many companies are yet exploring for gold in Finland, but the infrastructure, the taxes, and the labor in Finland, in combination with its mineral potential make it a prime jurisdiction for the next gold rush.
During the full interview, Carl Löfberg, Patrick Highsmith, and I talked mostly about FireFox Gold Corp, which is a paying customer of Resource Talks.

In a previous conversation, a geologist and I talked about Alaska as a mining jurisdiction, which is also at the same latitude as Finland but has far less infrastructure. Here is that video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZ67oCuXSoc
According to Science Direct, The Central Lapland Greenstone Belt (CLGB) is well endowed with orogenic gold deposits along major shear zones and structural lineaments. In the northern part of the belt, the Kiistala Shear Zone (KiSZ) hosts the Suurikuusikko gold deposit (Kittilä Mine), currently the largest gold producer in Europe.
More specifically, in this conversation, we talked about some important aspects to mining and exploring for gold in Finland, and more specifically Lapland.
