Russian speakers terrorized? Ukrainians speak up.

Fact: From the very beginning of popular protests in November, Russian-speaking, Ukrainian-speaking, Crimean Tatar-speaking and other groups of Ukrainians were on the Maidan together. In addition, polls of over 2,000 Maidan protesters confirmed that many on the Maidan were primarily Russian speakers. The vast majority of pro-Ukrainian protesters in Donetsk, Kharkiv, and other eastern and southern Ukrainian cities are Russian speakers.

Russian speakers and Ukrainian speakers are not two separate groups. Millions of Ukrainians communicate freely in both languages in all regions of Ukraine.
