Hi! My name is Angela and when I went home during my fall reading week, I asked my grandma to teach me how to cook some of the comfort foods I grew up eating.

In this video, my grandma teaches how to cook 3 Chinese dishes: braised ribs with beancurd and shiitake mushrooms, Chinese carrot soup and stir-fried broccoli. When we cook at home, we don't usually measure ingredients, so there are no exact recipes.

Since my grandma speaks Cantonese, this video is all in Cantonese, but there are English subtitles available as well. I hope you enjoy this Cantonese cooking vlog :)
