STS-128 - Space Shuttle Discovery in Amarillo, TX

Space Shuttle Discovery made a two-hour refuelling stop at Rick Husband International Airport on September 20, 2009 during her ferry trip back to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Inclement weather around KSC had forced the shuttle to divert to the Dryden Flight Research Facility at Edwards Air Force Base in California to conclude mission STS-128. This was the final ferry flight of an operational orbiter for the space shuttle program.
