Here are another 10 skaters you will meet on your journey as a skateboarder.
Real quick I got to give a shootout to everyone who commented on my last two list videos I used a ton of your comments to make this video and will continue to use them in the future.
Now we all know skaters are a diverse crowd. There are hesh skaters, posers, vert ram guys, street skaters, youtubers, noobies and so many more. Let’s walk through some of the more fun examples.
1. The send it skater
a. the send it skater is a different breed bordering on human and complete beast the send it skater might not have the best bag of tricks but he makes up for it in pure confidence or just plain stupidity. But no matter how you put it he somehow never seems to get hurt even when doing stuff that just makes your angles break from looking a it
b. You might see the send it skater without hesitation drop in on a 15 foot vert ramp his first time and still meraculasy pull it off or you could see a send it skater bomb a huge hill but no that’s not enough for him he has to do it facing backward. They will typilacly only end their sesh when they take a gnarly enough fall that makes every other skaters bones shake in fear or when they finally break their board.
c. But they wont leave without asking “wheres the move” “whats the function tonight bro” “yo have you seen jacksons sister? I heard she got hearpies but im still trying to hit it raw. No dude don’t worry my job covers medical.”
d. The send it skater isn’t truly done with their day until they not only send it at the park but send it at the party till they pass out.
2. kid who always wants to f*** play S.K.A.T.E
a. you can and will meet these kids at any skate park and they will without fear go up to any skater at the park and challenge them to a game of skate and proceed to win.
b. If you do manage to get ahead of this kid he will pressure flip the shit out of you and call it as a heel flip every time
c. This kid is most easily identified by his thrasher shit and skate junt grip tape
d. And has Most likely has watched every episiode of “do a kickflip” with eric koston
3. “surf skaters”.
a. The surf skater is the guy that started off surfing and thought skateboarding was the same so they wheat ahead and tried it.
b. Having no consistent bag of tricks instead of power sliding the surf skater embraces the bowls of the park and is willing to make the drive to find a pump track
4. The electric board rider
a. Now I know this is a skaters list and most of you don’t consider electric “skateboard” riders skaters but they are a relative to us merely because they ride a board with 4 wheels and have no handle bars to hold their hand.
b. The electric board rider is typically someone under the age of 30 who cant afford a car and is too lazy to use their legs so they rely on electric motors and a wii controller to get them from place to place.
c. Most often seen in larger citys such as la or new York. And can sometimes be seen wearing some painted ray bans.
5. The Walmart board skater
a. The Walmart board skater is most often a kid that got a Walmart board for chirsmas or his birthday after asking his parents to buy him a skateboard for years, or is just another youtuber doing a stupid “Walmart BoArD challenge”.
b. This kid or most likely their parents don’t know the difference between a real skate board and a Walmart board but it’s the thought that counts and you gotta give them props just for trying and having fun even if the wheels don’t spin and the trucks are made out of plastic.
