Chapter 2: Torticollis (Infant Repositioning for Plagiocephaly)

Are you worried your baby's head has a flat area on it? Have you noticed they always prefer to look or sleep with their head in one direction, or keep their head tilted to one side? This video series will teach you what to watch for in regards to plagiocephaly and torticollis, provide tips on how to start correcting the flat area using counterpressure, and offer suggestions on how to make tummy time easier. We will also discuss when and where to turn for additional help (see clinic links below).

Chapter 2 in this series describes torticollis, which is a neck muscle imbalance commonly seen in babies, and explains the impact this condition has on head shape.
